Piyush Goyal to meet French CEOs at India-France Business Summit

India’s Union minister of commerce, industry, and textiles, Piyush Goyal, will be co-chairing the India France Business Summit alongside Olivier Becht, minister delegate of foreign trade, government of France, today. During his official visit to France and Italy from April 11 to 13, the minister will meet with French business leaders across various sectors, attend a CEOs roundtable, and showcase India's soft power.


The summit is being held to commemorate 25 years of India-France friendship and will focus on themes such as building a green future, emerging technologies, defence cooperation, and cooperation in the Indo-Pacific regions, ministry of commerce and industry said in a press release.

The event is expected to see participation from over 600 dignitaries, including members of the French government, the Indian Business Diaspora in France, and members of the French business community. The minister will also interact with members of the Indian community in Paris.
